Hi Jenise,

A couple of comments:  I would make the pitch less about the hotel and gear it more toward what the guest will FEEL.  Something like, “When was the last time you woke up after a night in a hotel feeling like you’d been sleeping on a cloud”?  You could also say, when people ask what you do, “I help business travelers feel right at home.” That’s a pretty intriguing question.  I’d pick a few of the top things that set your hotel apart and find a way to gear it to what it does for the guest, and use your pitch to focus on those areas.  What your hotel has is very unique - it sounds spa-like, and made me want to stay there!  I think those points need to come much sooner in the pitch so you pique their interest.  Good luck!

Jenise,
A few things to consider with your pitch. 1) keep it as short as possible up front. Say something that will get people interested and they will ask for more info. At that point you can offer a bit more. If you tell too much up front, most folks tune out.
2) Make sure you are talking about what “they” get not what “you” do. Instead of ‘we have sumptuous beds’ you’ll want to say ‘you get to sleep in the softest bed in Richmond.’ Anytime you feel the urge to say ‘I’ or ‘we’, change it to you and you’ll get many more positive responses.
Remember, everyone wants to listen to only one radio station- WIIFM- What’s In It For Me!
Good luck and feel free to resubmit for more feedback
