About This Site

What’s an Elevator Pitch?
An elevator pitch, also called a positioning statement, is the answer to the Great American Business Question “what do you do”. It is a brief statement about what an entrepreneur does and who he does it with. It’s purpose is to find out whether the person you’re talking to has any interest in doing some business with you. The idea is that the pitch should be brief enough to only last duration of an elevator ride and concise enough to garner real interest and inspire action.

MyElevatorPitch.com was created as a platform for entrepreneurs to try out their elevator pitch and receive feedback from our panel of experts and the MEP community. As a bonus, we hope that the site can provide participants with networking and promotion opportunities by sharing their ideas and insight.
